This page explains the terms of use, privacy policy, account/data deletion methods, EULA information and version history for the ShopList mobile application.

2. Terms of Use
By using ShopList, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the app.
2.1. Account Use
- Some features may be available without creating a full account. Account-based features such as shared lists, cloud synchronization and subscription management may require sign-in.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account information.
- You may not use your account for abuse, unauthorized access or unlawful purposes.
2.2. User Content
Categories, shopping lists, list items, product notes and price comparison information you create belong to you. We process this content only as needed to store, display and operate the app.
2.3. Scope of Service
ShopList provides shopping list management, categories, list items, price comparison fields and shared list features. Premium subscriptions and advertisements may be offered. Premium features are activated when purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription terms, pricing, cancellation and refund processes are subject to the rules of the relevant store.
2.4. Terms of Use (EULA)
This application uses the standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA) for auto-renewable subscriptions offered through the Apple App Store. You can review Apple’s standard EULA at the link below:

2.5. Service Changes
We may improve, change or temporarily suspend app features for technical, security, legal or product reasons. Important changes may be announced through this page or in-app notices where appropriate.
3. Privacy Policy
3.1. Data We May Process
- Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider information and user identifier.
- Profile information: optional first/last name, date of birth, phone, country, city, district and gender.
- App content: categories, shopping lists, list items, quantities, units, product notes and price comparison data.
- Technical data: technical logs and identifiers processed by Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple App Store and AdMob as needed for app operation.
- Subscription data: purchase identifiers, store product identifiers, entitlement status and subscription state. We do not directly collect your payment card information.
- Advertising data: where permitted by your consent, device settings and applicable law, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may process technical advertising identifiers and usage signals.
3.2. Why We Use Data
- To create and manage user sessions.
- To store shopping lists, categories and product details.
- To provide shared list and cloud synchronization features.
- To verify and maintain premium subscription entitlements.
- To provide ads or rewarded ads where enabled.
- To improve security, troubleshoot issues and maintain service continuity.
3.3. Third-Party Services
ShopList uses Google Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore and Cloud Functions. Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In may be offered for authentication. Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat. Advertisements may be served through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), subject to platform rules, user consent and device settings.
3.4. Ads and Subscriptions
Ads such as banners and rewarded ads may be shown in accordance with applicable laws, platform policies and consent flows. Premium subscriptions offered through Apple App Store or Google Play activate additional features after purchase approval. Plan contents and prices may be updated in the relevant store; the in-store display should be considered the current source of truth.
3.5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that are required for app operation, including Firebase, Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat and AdMob, or where required by law, security or abuse-prevention needs.
3.6. Data Security
Data is stored using Firebase infrastructure and access controls are applied to account-based content. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
3.7. Data Retention
Account and list data may be stored while your account or app usage remains active. When an account deletion request is processed, data associated with your account is deleted within a reasonable period, except where limited records must be retained for legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
